West End Brewing/Utica Club WEBCO Dooley Stein

This is a wonderful Stein with a story.  West End Brewing Company (WEBCO) was known for a series of award-winning commercials for Utica Club Beer featuring Dooley.  In these commercials, Dooley was accompanied by Schultz.  They were wooden characters in the commercials with voices from Bill Baird (a well-known Puppeteer) and Jonathan Winters (a Comedian) in German and Irish accents.  This stein is from the 2nd printing since the marking is not located under the handle.  It is estimated to be manufactured between 1960 - 1964.  The stein is in excellent vintage, pre-owned condition.
